ROBERT

GENERAL MANAGER

Robert has been a pillar of the Empire Legal team since its inception. As General Manager, he oversees all aspects of the daily operations including but not limited to; all scheduling and production; liaison with all Court Reporters and Affiliate Agencies nationwide; invoicing; receivables and payables; as well as all employee training and supervision. He truly is the engine that keeps the company and our team running efficiently. Lending his nearly twenty years of experience in the South Florida litigation support arena, Robert is greatly appreciated by our clients for his extensive knowledge as well as prompt assistance in accommodating last minute requests. His level of service is a big part of what has yielded Empire such a loyal client base and a top-notch reputation. Moving from NY to Wellington, he resides there with his wife Maria and son Robert. He is an avid golfer that has participated in many legal and professional charity golf tournaments alongside the Owner, Thomas. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from Iona College.

JENNAFER

REGIONAL MANAGER

As the Regional Manager at Empire Legal, Jennafer worked her way up from a receptionist position which she took on in 2011 while finishing school. With background experience in customer service, sales, negotiations, management and design, she has been building and contributing to the Empire legacy since the start in 2014. Jennafer’s passion for providing exceptional customer service and helping clients with their business needs is what contributes the well established relationships she holds today. She believes in taking time and care with each individual to make sure all their needs and wants are not only met, but exceeded.

GIL

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Gil Marino has been a welcome addition to the Empire Legal team as Chief Technology officer.  His extensive background in IT and Operations has been an integral part of the catalyst for many of the technological advancements that Empire has instituted recently, which has assisted in the ascendance in the South Florida market. On a day-to-day basis he is responsible for all technology-based decisions; purchasing and maintenance of vendor relationships; research and development of software and network operations; as well as oversees and consults with the Owner on the further advancement of daily operations.

As a Florida Native, Gil has fostered an extensive business network in the South Florida region over the last 30+  years.  His deep roots coupled with his passion for learning and leading have not only helped to foster his successful professional career but deep respect and admirations in his personal.  As an avid animal lover,  he resides in Fort Lauderdale Florida with his rescue dog and cat. You know what they say about men that love animals?  Always trust men with big hearts!

SHERINE

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Sherine was one of the first brilliant additions to the Empire team as Production Coordinator back in 2012.  Her 22+ years of experience in the legal production arena has given her what seems to be, a wealth of infinite knowledge that has been vital to the core of Empire.  From transcript production; to copy and graphics production; to facilitating the many tailored requests that come from our clients; to all mail outs and deliveries to lending her knowledge or assistance in every and any area that she may, there is not question that she has helped foster the confidence clients have in Empire.

Sherine is a wife; mother; and entrepreneur all while leading a successful career. She is a highly respected part of the Empire team as well as of the community because of her passion for helping others to become successful and self-sufficient all while managing to do it all calmly with a smile.

MIA

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

In the span of Mia’s 25 year professional career she has taken on different roles in the areas of marketing; business development; public relations; customer service; recruiting; marine; real estate; athletic; and hospitality fields. Working since she got her working papers she has always been competitively self-motivated to be the best that she could be at any position she has held. This motivation was predicated on her belief drive and determination cannot be taught but are innate which can be said to be the very reason her life has seen very few boundaries and thus her career path has followed in accordance. As Director of Marketing and one of Empire’s first employees whom originally joined the team back in 2011, she is very passionate about upholding its’ high standards as well as fostering loyal relationships that will lead to exponential growth for its’ clients and the company. Originally from New York City, Mia has resided in South Florida for 17 years with active involvement with Non-Profits associations. Currently, she heads her own animal rescue operation as well as sits on the Board as Membership Director for the Gay and Lesbian Lawyers Network.

LYNETTE

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Lynette has been a welcome addition to the Empire Legal team, bringing her diverse knowledge base and extraordinary attention to detail. Previous to switching career tracks to the legal field, she was in the Banking and Finance industry for 10 years in Human Resources and Lead Operations. Following, when she changed fields, she served as the Executive Assistant to the President of the Corporate Division of a major court reporting company. Currently, Lynette is the Executive Assistant to the President of Empire Legal fostering continued success and growth of Empire.

HANK

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Hank moved to south Florida in 2003 with the last 13 years in the legal industry. His expertise in litigation services is diverse, ranging from shipping and receiving, to document coordination, to digital court reporting to legal assisting one of the most prominent Estate Attorneys in South Florida to production assisting and coordination. As Empire’s Production Assistant, Hank supports the entire Production Department in all of the intricate tasks needed in the production of transcripts; exhibits; video and copy services. A specific kind of demeanor is needed to be able to handle the great demands of producing such complex documents and projects to the Empire standard, yet Hank’s calm and organized nature handles it all proficiently.

SELMA

CLIENT SERVICE MANAGER

Selma oversees the fluid operation of our Client Services Division ensuring that top-notch customer service is always the central focus. Her previous experience as Administrative Manager for two Michigan corporations, where she trained and managed all Administrative employees, was where she developed her customer service centralized method of conducting business. This method has proven to be symbiotic with Empires focus of always putting the needs of the clients at the forefront of all decisions. From overseeing the daily litigation support operations ensuring smooth execution to supporting the client services division in the intricate tasks that keep our clients businesses thriving, Selma’s organized and motivated approach is a perfect match.

DOUG

PARTNER OF EMPIRE LEGAL

Prior to joining Empire Legal, Doug McLean was a founding partner of IPOinstitution.com; which at its time of sale enjoyed national branding by all financial major media (including Bloomberg TV, CNBC, theStreet.com, and Reuters) as the prevailing source for all IPO and syndicate research/analysis. Since becoming Partner of Empire Legal, his financial expertise has proven to have the perfect synergy with Empires focus as well as the interests of its clients. Subsequently, he has fostered substantial business relationships and in turn tremendous growth for the company.
